Deep Hate and How to End It (Part I)

Hate is a strong emotion--stronger than most when it goes deep. It can move individuals, groups, nations to carry out unimaginable destruction and grief. It already has, down through the centuries. It continues today--in the forms of terrorism, racism, sexism, homophobia, child abuse, gun abuse, and more.

Those of us who consider ourselves civilized have good reason to be scared. It seems as though there is nothing we can do to halt the growing menace. Our police seem weak, our governments impotent, our borders unprotected, and more and more 'unbalanced' individuals are armed with high powered weapons fit for the military.

What hope is there?

There's more than hope. And in this two-part series, you’ll discover how you can help bring hatred to its knees. You can and must play a major role in bringing sanity back to an insane world. You have it within you and around you to save this planet and her people, her creatures, her resources. But will you? Or will you succumb to the fear? No need. You will now have the tools to turn on the light.

You probably live in a city or town that has community access TV channels. In my city, there are several.

The other night, I was flipping through the channels and happened upon a weird little program put on by the so-called Aryan Nation. This white guy, around 30, was spouting about how the White race is superior, how he hated Hispanics and Jews in particular, and what we needed to do to get rid of "the pests." He didn't come right out and advocate murder and terrorism, but it was definitely implied.

The guy claimed that the White race had given all its best stuff—technology, literature, music, art—to the inferior races of Asia, Africa and South America. And they had used it all against us.

What?

Getting Really Healthy: Debunking the Myths of Becoming Vegetarian

Are you being fooled by the pill makers?

As a vegetarian, I am always interested in nutritional research. One of the more invigorating controversies around the subject is the issue of a possible B-12 deficiency in those who eat no animal products. So, here is a nice little site with a lot of great info that will enlighten and even stimulate your senses.

http://libaware.economads.com/b12issue.php

From the site:

The pill pushers are quick to say that our soil is deficient, but according to [researchers]..., if a seed does not receive the elements it needs IT WILL NOT GROW (OR WILL GROW POORLY - author). Also, plants obtain nutrients from other sources in greater amounts: the sun, water and the air. Plants actually obtain only about 1% of nutrients from the soil.

It's your body, your life. Stay informed.

Blessings.

The Humble Potato--Is It Killing You?

I have researched the potato for at least five years and just when I think I have found the definitive answer concerning its healthy or unhealthy properties, I find new evidence that refutes everything that has gone before.

However, I found this bit of info that suits my tastes so I've decided to make it the final arbiter in my ongoing tumble with the humble potato. Click on the link to follow, read it, decide for yourself, and keep enjoying your spuds! They will not kill you.

Americans' Right to Access Natural Health Alternatives in Peril, Says Natural Health Freedom Movement

News Release: Santa Clara, CA (PRWEB) June 29, 2009 -- The Natural Health Freedom Movement, a new coalition under the leadership of Matthias Rath, MD, is spearheading an online grass roots movement to protect the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) and defend the rights of Americans to access safe, science-based, natural health alternatives.

In passing DSHEA, Congress recognized the strong role supplements can play in promoting health and prevention of chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and other serious health conditions. DSHEA also allowed wide dissemination of science-based natural health information and opened the door for increased science in the area of vitamins, minerals and micronutrients. This led to a fifteen-year explosion of scientific knowledge about natural, non-patentable health alternatives, and increased public awareness of natural alternatives.

by using science- and fact-based health care alternatives which will lower costs, improve health and reduce the influence of symptom-oriented, largely ineffective high-cost pharmaceutical drugs on national health care.
"The unparalleled growth and confidence in science- and fact-based health care alternatives is now in jeopardy at the hands of the pharmaceutical drug lobby," says Dr. Rath. "They have embarked on a campaign to grossly manipulate public opinion and exert political pressure to dispute the validity of DSHEA. This is in direct conflict with Americans' legislated rights to science-based knowledge and access to natural health alternatives, and we must protect those rights."

The US administration is determined to build a new healthcare system which will lower costs and provide effective treatments to all Americans. "This can only be done," says Rath, "by using science- and fact-based health care alternatives which will lower costs, improve health and reduce the influence of symptom-oriented, largely ineffective high-cost pharmaceutical drugs on national health care."

The Natural Health Freedom Movement campaign is asking the United States Congress, both the Senate and House of Representatives, to protect DSHEA from attacks and possible reversal. Rath is urging Americans to contact their elected representatives in support of this new coalition.

Are You Losing Your Brain?

Six Ways to an Empty Head...

You have billions of brain cells. Who needs that many, right? So, if you don’t care about losing some of them, lots of them, here is a short list on how to do it more quickly and make it permanent:

• Eat lots of fatty animal tissue—beef, pork, packaged meats.

• Skip the green foods, the fruits, the seeds, nuts, and veggies, especially that awful stuff that comes right out of the ground.

• Don’t exercise. Watch more TV.

• Up the caffeine. Sleep less.

• Smoke more. Drink more alcohol. (Some say wine doesn’t count as booze so bottoms up!)

• Finally, if anything goes wrong, have lots of legal—and not so legal—drugs on hand. No need to worry any further. Pop a pill and you’re covered.

Results? Heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke, kidney and liver damage, vision, hearing, and bone loss, addiction, and of course, lots of dead brain cells. But who cares? It’s your life. Do as you will.

I’m not reprimanding, only reminding, for I have sinned “more than ye all.” But ultimately, your brain, your very being, is not yours alone. We need you to be at your physical, emotional, and spiritual best. You could be the one who tips the world aright. (Don’t laugh…it could happen!) If you’re not taking care of yourself, you won’t be able to come to the rescue when you’re needed.

You’re needed right now.
