You Want to Heal Your Life? Really? Truly? Here’s How…

It all begins with humor!

“The key word for our time is practice. We have all the Light we need. We just need to put it into practice.” Peace Pilgrim

Laughter has a healing affect not only on your body but on your entire experience. Here are some great thoughts on adding more of it to your daily journey:

  • Life is a game, but there is some assembly required. Ziggy (Choose to laugh.)
  • Laughter is the shortest distance between two people. Victor Borge (Connect with a light heart.)
  • Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been. Mark Twain (Smile a lot more.)
  • Humor…prevents hardening of the attitudes. Joel Goodman (Attitude is key.)
  • Laugh at yourself first before anyone else can. Elsa Maxwell (Take yourself less seriously.)
  • There are three rules for creating humor. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are. Laurence J. Peters (Laugh in spite of appearances.)
  • Humor is the prelude to faith, and laughter is the beginning of prayer. Reinhold Niebuhr (If you listen, you can hear the universe laughing...and singing.)
  • There is no time like the pleasant. Oliver Hereford (Laugh in this moment.)
  • If you have no sense of humor, you have no sense at all. Mary McDonald (And, no one wants to be around you!)
  • When humor goes, there goes civilization. Erma Bombeck (Laugh and save the world.)

Finally…
  • Happiness is a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city. George Burns

Choose laughter. It heals. You, me, the world.

“Then I command mirth, for a person hath no better thing under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry.” Eccl. 8:15
