A Practical Prayer... (New Thought Sunday Message, May 22, 2011)

A New Thought Way to Pray...

Often, we think that to pray correctly, we must address or petition or even beg some outside source, hoping that in its benevolence, we may secure the answer or the object or the person we seek. Here is a prayer that has to go no further than your own lips. No one else need even hear it. If it comes up gently from the heart and down softly from the head, with grand and great and humble intention, the right answer is sure to follow:

May my words be gracious and tender today as they go forth into the world, for tomorrow, I may have to eat them.

Simple, to the point, world-changing.

Blessings to all and may all be fed.
