The Truth and Thomas Jefferson: 18th Century Wisdom in a 21st Century World

A lot of words have been ascribed to Thomas Jefferson, some accurately, others not so much. But if these words are actually from his brain, then he was indeed our contemporary. Read and be amazed:

"Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put in that polluted vehicle."

Looks like nothing has really changed, except maybe the fact that you can now throw in TV, the internet, Smart Phones, texting, and computer hacking.

Seems truth is as elusive as ever.
