Body and Spirit--Equals on the Journey
The moment you are conceived, you begin to surround yourself with protective cover. By the time you are born, you have covered your Center so well that it will take a lifetime (or more) to penetrate the barriers--that is, if you even make the attempt. That's how we are made. Survival is first and foremost. Spiritual realization is second. Honor your protections. Be grateful your survival instincts do not move aside easily. It makes spiritual awakening just that much sweeter.
