New 'Clean House' Survey of Working Mothers Reveals 68% Feel Guilty Their Homes Not Clean Enough and Blame Themselves

It's not particularly spiritual, but the title of this news release (which I received from PRWeb) grabbed my attention. After reading it, I thought you might find it enlightening, too. Hope so...

Click on this title: New 'Clean House' Survey of Working Mothers Reveals 68% Feel Guilty Their Homes Not Clean Enough and Blame Themselves

From the article:

A new “Clean House” survey of working moms finds that 68% feel very guilty that their homes are not clean enough and finds that they are almost twice as likely to poorly judge themselves (63%) versus worrying about the judgment of their parents, friends or in-laws. The Working Mother survey, published in the April/May issue, also reveals that the primary reason they want a clean house is to give them a sense of peace.

  1. What a heartbreaking article to think that so many moms feel guilty about a clean house when they have so much on their plate. I read somewhere, "that a clean home is a sign of someone who is very very bored!" and that "when we judge ourselves we break our own hearts."

I hope people will spread the word to alleviate our mother's guilt and self judgement!!!

I love you mommies! AND THANK YOU for EVERYTHING!!!!!
