How to be a Power Performer--Every Day, Everywhere...

“To avoid criticism, say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.” Elbert Hubbard

Are you a power performer? Let’s see…

Power-filled people
  • Make their life an adventure
  • Take charge of their lives
  • Know they always have choices
  • Know the journey’s the thing
  • Experience success long before achievement
  • Don’t let others drag them down
  • Know that for things to change, they must change
  • Know how to create opportunities
  • Know how to make [their assets] work for them
  • Have learned how to define their future
  • Know how to enhance their time
  • Can turn their fear into fortune
  • Have learned to put love first
Dawson also adds what he calls The Seven Traits of Power-filled People”:

  1. They release the past
  2. They do not fear the future
  3. They develop an even disposition
  4. They are not out just to make a profit
  5. They enjoy life now
  6. They rise above the need to be liked
  7. And the need to impress others
The simple way to implement all of these actions and qualities? Choose to make a positive difference in the world. Then do it.

“The only person whose behavior we can control is our own.” William Glasser, Choice Therapy 1998
