Far Right Politics: If You Have to Lie to Prove Your Point, Your Point is Worthless

Something about political conservatism bothers me...

After listening to and watching the antics of the Far Right political machine, it has become clear: A surprisingly large percentage of conservatives, including the Tea Party types, need to look in the mirror and ask themselves why dishonesty is so necessary to further their various causes. If you have to lie, to deceive, to manipulate to get your voice heard, then it should tell you how wrong your efforts really are. But even the Church has repeatedly claimed that it's OK to lie if it moves 'The Kingdom' forward. Really? Seems a bit disingenuous to me. Crazy, in fact!

Not to say that liberals are always honest about their motives. But it seems the Far Right is much more eager to do whatever is necessary to get them where they want to go. Honest, legal, moral or not.

I guess stupidity is hard to see in one's own face, eh? But if your only source of political information is from such outlets as FOX News*, then it's understandable.

*I use the term 'News' here loosely. This network is more a comedy of horrors than any kind of legitimate journalism. Sorry, conservatives. Your loss. Unfortunately, ours, too.
